The Ultimate Awards is pleased to announce the winners of its first edition of Rum Ambassador 2022. This competition honors the laudable job of brand ambassadors in promoting rum and educating consumers about spirit beverages.
Seventeen nominees from sixteen rum brands were invited to participate in a challenging but entertaining competition. The participants enjoyed the dynamic that allowed them to strengthen their professional networking and promote their role in the rum industry.
The voting process started on May 9th and closed on May 31st. During this period, the public supports their favorite brand ambassador. In total, we received 2284 votes from the public, being the competition with the highest participation so far. That said, let’s present the three winners of The Ultimate Rum Ambassador:
1st Place: Mauricio Solórzano from Flor de Caña (833 votes)
2nd Place: Daniel Mora from Ron Centenario (357 votes)
3rd Place: Audrey Hands from Havana Club (247 votes)
The winners will obtain their certificate at the New York Rum Festival on June 18th at the Metropolitan Pavilion, NYC. They will also receive bragging rights and a special interview on https://therumlab.com/.
