The Ultimate Awards is proud to announce the winner of its latest competition: The Ultimate People’s Favorite Tiki Bar–North America West Coast Edition. The Monkey’s Paw stood out in a group of 21 renowned tiki bars, receiving the most votes on the voting platform.
The voting process started on October 24 and finished on November 28, 2022. At the Miami Rum Congress, the winners will receive prizes. The Congress will take place at the Hilton Cabana Miami Beach from February 10th to the 12th. They will also have an interview on The Rum Lab.
About the winner
In Springfield, Oregon, The Monkey’s Paw opened over a year ago and offers Western Oregon residents a pleasant escape, tropical drinks, and an amazing environment. Its owner describes this bar in a previous publication as “an escapist atmosphere centered on fun cocktails, featuring house-made syrups and freshly pressed juices, and a multitude of dining options”.
The owners’ attendance at a punk rock concert festival in Las Vegas gave rise to the idea of opening an establishment. They altered their opinions of the establishment after a visit to another fantastic Tiki Bar, and they immediately embraced the idea of opening their own.
The Ultimate Awards
The Ultimate Awards is a recognition created this year to recognize the work of the people of the rum industry. So far, we have rewarded another four categories: Best Rum Bartender, Best Social Media Group, Best Brand Ambassador, and Best Sustainable Rum Brand.
