The Ultimate Awards team knows how important it is for this era of social media, and the influencers for their power to become opinion leaders in every area. With TheRumLab, we have launched a new competition title The Ultimate Social Media Rum Influencer of the Year.

Being an influencer isn’t a simple job. It’s a responsibility that includes exceptional communication skills, the power to attract an audience, and also the time and creativity to generate constant content for their social media getting to become known.

For the last 12 months, executives at both companies have been thoroughly researching and following candidates on Instagram. “We have seen dozens of great candidates that are going above and beyond to educate and inform consumers around the world.” – says Joselina Rodriguez, Marketing Director at TheRumLab.com

“We recognized and nominated 8-10 influencers as the most noteworthy influencers for 2022,” says Lilihana Lara Arévalo – Director of The Ultimate Awards. To become a nominee for this award, the influencers comply with at least 3 of the 4 requirements: (a) must be active in social media posting regularly, (b) have an individual account, (c) have more than 2k followers, and (d) high engagement per post. The candidates are also selected by merit and recommendation by other industry experts. People also can contribute by nominating their favorite rum influencers at theultimateawards@gmail.com or @UltimateAwards on Instagram.

The voting process starts on January 23th and ends on February 1st, 2023. The winner will get bragging rights, an interview by TheRumLab.com and will receive a plaque in the 4th Miami Rum Congress, a two-day event focused on rum education and premiumization to take place on February 10th-12th at the Hilton Cabana Miami Beach.
