Rum lovers around the world: it’s time to vote for The Ultimate Sustainable Rum Distillery 2023! As we announced in previous days, The Ultimate Awards team wants to recognize those distilleries that, aware of the environmental impact of their practices, are working hard to reduce their impact on the environment.
By using innovative technologies to save energy, building environmentally friendly infrastructure, reducing water waste and creating biodegradable packaging, these distilleries are taking a step towards sustainability and making a difference in the greening of the spirits market.
15 distilleries were nominated by a team of industry insiders and, more importantly, rum lovers, who decided that these companies deserve a standing ovation for their efforts to impact the environment less and less:

The voting process began on August 14 and ends on August 28. The winners will receive their award at the Los Angeles Rum & Tiki Festival to be held at The Majestic Ballroom on September 8 of this year.
