The Ultimate Awards took advantage of the New York Rum Fest and the participation of more than 170 rum expressions to spice things up and make a healthy and fun competition among 48 brands to choose the Favorite Sipping Rum Brand of the afternoon.
The competition is very simple. More than 500 people attended the event and enjoyed more than 10,000 sips of rums which led them to vote via a QR code placed on the table for their favorite brand.
Ron Viejo de Caldas took home the top prize with 25 votes, while Ron Barceló won second place with 19 votes and Ron Dos Maderas took third place, receiving 13 votes.

For the second consecutive year
It is important to mention that this is the second time that Ron Viejo de Caldas takes the Favorite Sipping Rum award of the event. Last year it took first place at the 2022 New York Rum Festival.
In addition, with a total of 326 votes, this is the sipping with the highest participation we have had in The Ultimate Awards.
